San Angelo State Park

History and nature converge on the banks of O.C. Fisher Reservoir and the Concho River, making the park a favorite among history buffs and nature lovers. In addition to miles of trails and an abundance of water activities, park goers can visit the bison and longhorn paddocks to see relics of Texas’ early days.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant San Angelo State Park’s centennial wish.

Give Back to San Angelo State Park

San Angelo State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Quenching Your Thirst on the Trail

There’s so much to do at San Angelo State Park, including recreating on 50 miles of multi-use trails. Unfortunately, there’s no access to water fountains here, and park staff would like to purchase and install water bottle filling stations at several locations throughout the park.

With your assistance, water stations will be installed on the south side playground, and the Burkett, 5 points, Riverbend, and Bell’s trailheads. These stations will not only provide a useful amenity for park visitors but will also promote the use of reusable bottles, which will reduce the amount of litter in the park.

Fundraising goal: $20,000

Give Back to San Angelo State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with San Angelo State Park for future funding needs.
