Mother Neff State Park

Along a scenic stretch of the Leon River southwest of Waco lies one of Texas’ first state parks, now a legacy for all Texans. Isabella Neff donated the original six acres for the park in 1921. A century later, countless families and adventurers have discovered this perfect slice of that Texas Mother Neff loved most.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Mother Neff State Park’s centennial wish.

Mother Neff State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Access for All

Hiking is a favorite activity at Mother Neff, but unfortunately, not everyone is able to hit the trail. The park has about two miles of trail that would be a suitable for access by those with mobility issues, if the right equipment is made available.

With your help, the park will receive two all-terrain wheelchairs, one suitable for adults and one for kids.

These specialized wheelchairs will give all visitors the freedom to experience the natural wonders of the park with friends and family.

Fundraising goal: $9,000

Give Back to Mother Neff State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Mother Neff State Park for future funding needs.
