Meridian State Park

Nestled among limestone bluffs at the top of the Hill Country, families come to this tranquil park to unwind. On 72-acre Lake Meridian, park goers can cool off with a swim, drop a line, or go for a paddle. On land, you can picnic, explore our trails, watch for wildlife, and camp overnight.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Meridian State Park’s centennial wish.

Meridian State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Enjoying the Colors of Nature

With your support, Meridian State Park staff will make the beautiful colors of nature available to more people, including those who are color-blind.

There is new lens technology available that allows people with color blindness to see the full color spectrum. Park staff want to provide this technology through binocular viewers with a special lens package that will give color-blind visitors the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of nature as never before. The binoculars can also be used by visitors who are not color blind.

All visitors will enjoy viewing the sights in greater detail from three stunning scenic overlooks throughout the park.

Fundraising goal: $15,000

Give Back to Meridian State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Meridian State Park for future funding needs.
