Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site

Visitors love this unique park, where you can experience life on a Texas-German farm, marvel at American bison and Texas longhorns, and see an impressive collection of memorabilia from our 36th President, Lyndon B. Johnson, who was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Lyndon Baines Johnson State Park’s centennial wish.

Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site’s Centennial Wish:

Water Stations for Walkers and Hikers

Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site is home to popular walking trails that wind their way through oak mottes and by pastures where you might spot grazing longhorns or bison. To serve walkers and hikers, park staff would like to install two accessible water fountains with water bottle filling capabilities.

With your support, the stations will quench the thirst of park visitors while reducing park litter and promoting sustainability through the use of reusable bottles.

Fundraising goal: $15,000

Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site for future funding needs.
