Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway sits in the heart of cattle country, near what was once a popular health resort. Here visitors can take in a bit of history while enjoying the park’s lake, a rock-climbing area, and miles of trails.

Access for All
Lake Mineral Wells State Park is well known for its many outdoor recreational activities. Two of the most popular activities are kayaking and fishing.
Currently, there is no kayak launch in the beach area, and it can be difficult for some visitors to get in and out of a kayak safely.
With your help, park staff will provide better access by installing an ADA-accessible kayak launch, which would greatly improve access to the lake for all park users.
Fundraising goal: $45,000
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway for future funding needs.
