Lake Livingston State Park

Visitors come to the shores of Lake Livingston to make unforgettable family memories at this Pinywoods park. Located just an hour north of Houston, you can fish and boat in one of the largest lakes in the state, hike quiet trails through the forest, or camp under the trees.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Lake Livingston State Park’s centennial wish.

Give Back to Lake Livingston State Park

Lake Livingston State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Bench Strength

Lake Livingston’s trails are a big draw, and park staff would like to add benches along the trailways to provide places for observing wildlife and rest spots for those who are unable to walk long distances.

Many visitors have requested benches in the past. Trail benches would provide welcome resting spots for all visitors and make the park more welcoming for visitors with limited mobility or endurance.

With your support, park staff will construct new shaded bench seating along the Peninsula Day Use Area. This area is used by swimmers, picnickers and anglers and is in direct sunlight during the day. The shaded benches will provide a place to cool off and relax on hot Texas days.

Fundraising goal: $30,000

Give Back to Lake Livingston State Park
