Lake Arrowhead State Park

Halfway between Dallas and Oklahoma City, the park’s 16,200-acre lake draws anglers eager to hook crappie, white bass, striped bass, and blue and channel catfish. Horseback riders and hikers love the five miles of mostly flat and grassy trails.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Lake Arrowhead State Park’s centennial wish.

Lake Arrowhead State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Providing Birding Basics

A large lake, miles of rich shoreline, and mixed-grass prairies create vital habitat for a diverse assemblage of birds; over 180 species have been seen at Lake Arrowhead State Park!

With your assistance, a new spotting scope with tripod, binoculars for adults and children, and field guides will help the staff at Lake Arrowhead State Park inspire future generations of birders.

Helping visitors learn more about birding can inspire them to engage in bird conservation efforts while delighting visitors of all ages with the wonders of the natural world.

Fundraising goal: $3,000

Give Back to Lake Arrowhead State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Lake Arrowhead State Park for future funding needs.
