Texans seeking to kick off a grand adventure love Kickapoo Cavern State Park for its many caves, birds, bats, trails and more. The park offers hiking and mountain biking, caves, camping, bird watching, and evening bat flight viewing in season. Adventurers welcome!

Make the Night Sky Come Alive
While many are drawn to Kickapoo Cavern for a look at the wonders beneath their feet, visitors are equally entranced by the skies above when darkness falls. Just a couple of hours from the bright lights and big city of San Antonio, park visitors can experience the awe-inspiring spectacle of a night sky filled with stars.
With your assistance, park staff will purchase dark sky viewing equipment. Funding will be used to purchase a variety of telescopes to enhance the visitor experience and connect them to the wonders of the night sky.
Fundraising goal: $5,000
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Kickapoo Cavern State Park for future funding needs.
