Inks Lake State Park

This Hill Country gem has been entertaining families for decades with its sparkling blue water, colorful rock outcrops, and striking sunsets. Inks Lake State Park is a top choice for a day trip or a weekend getaway; and because the lake’s level usually stays constant, you can play here year-round.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Inks Lake State Park’s centennial wish.

Inks Lake State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Taking Aim at More Park Offerings

From granite boulder fields to cool lake water, Inks Lake State Park is a destination for exploring nature. One way the park facilitates these discoveries is through birding and stargazing programs. At the park’s outstanding wildlife viewing blind, visitors can get a closer look at birds like sparrows, painted buntings, and hummingbirds.

Park staff would like to purchase binoculars to share with those who may not have their own. The binoculars will also be used for astronomy programs.

Inks Lake staff would also like to add to the park’s outdoor programs by adding archery to their arsenal of offerings. Trained staff will conduct these programs, introducing visitors to a new activity and connecting to the land’s past.

Fundraising goal: $7,000
