Indian Lodge

Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, Indian Lodge is popular among overnighting park goers because of its rustic charm, modern comfort and amazing location inside Davis Mountains State Park. With its white adobe walls, historic aura, and refreshing pool, Indian Lodge remains a welcome desert oasis.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for much-needed projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Indian Lodge’s centennial wish.

Indian Lodge’s Centennial Wish:

Making the Most of an Indian Lodge Stay

Park staff have long wanted to develop “day-use” type sites to provide an area for lodge guests to relax outside, prepare food or enjoy a fire. Currently, no such options exist within walking distance for lodge guests. The terrain and views around the lodge are ideal for developing low-impact day-use sites.

With your support, this project will include the construction of three composite deck structures close to Indian Lodge. The decks will be connected to the road and each other by walkable paths, and at least one of the decks will be ADA-compliant, improving the visitor experience for all.

Fundraising goal: $37,000

Give Back to Indian Lodge
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Indian Lodge for future funding needs.
