Dinosaur Valley State Park
Long ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean. Today, park goers from all walks of life can walk among giants and follow the timeless tracks in the bed of the Paluxy River. This long trip to the past is just a short drive from Fort Worth.
Throughout 2023, we are raising money for exciting projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Dinosaur Valley State Park’s centennial wish.
Dinosaur Valley State Park’s Centennial Wish:
Quench Your Thirst
Visitors to Dinosaur Valley State Park can explore miles of scenic trails, walk through impressive trackways of preserved dinosaur footprints and make tracks of their own.
With miles of trails covering prairies and steep limestone slopes, visitors and their four-legged companions will benefit from the addition of four ADA-accessible water bottle filling and pet stations.
These accessible water stations will help visitors and their dogs stay safe and hydrated while promoting sustainability by reducing plastic waste from single-use water bottles.
Fundraising goal: $15,000
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Dinosaur Valley State Park for future funding needs.
