Countless visitors travel to Davis Mountains State Park to find trails and tranquility among this beautiful and historic park. This unique and remote destination offers all sorts of adventures, including hiking and mountain biking, along with a wide range of accommodations from rustic campsites to inviting rooms at the historic Indian Lodge.

Make the Night Sky Come Alive
The dark skies of Davis Mountains State Park are some of the best in the state for night sky viewing. The park currently has a night sky viewing program, but additional equipment is needed to expand the offerings and inspire even more visitors through a positive experience.
With your help, park staff will purchase four telescopes to enhance the visitor experience. The telescopes will be used throughout the park and at Indian Lodge for nighttime viewing events.
Fundraising goal: $10,000
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Davis Mountains State Park for future funding needs.
