Colorado Bend State Park

The unspoiled wilderness of Colorado Bend inspires visitors to marvel at the beauty of Gorman Falls, cool off in Spicewood Springs, fish or paddle the river, take a cave tour, and test their limits on 35 miles of trails. The park’s popular back-to-nature camping options include drive-up, walk-in and primitive hike-in sites.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for exciting projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Colorado Bend State Park’s centennial wish.

Colorado Bend State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Gear to the Rescue

Colorado Bend’s unique karst landscape provides 32 miles of rocky trails, steep canyons, and deep caves for adventurous visitors to explore. Sometimes accidents happen in the park’s 5,200 acres, and visitors need help.

With your assistance, park staff will purchase additional technical rope rescue gear, rock climbing helmets, and climbing harnesses for search and rescue operations. Trained staff will use this equipment for low angle, high angle, and cave rescues at the park.

Fundraising goal: $7,000

Give Back to Colorado Bend State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Colorado Bend State Park for future funding needs.
