Cleburne State Park
A spring-fed lake, trails through the forest, quiet campsites – what more do you need? Park goers retreat here to get away from hectic city life. Just 30 minutes southwest of Fort Worth on the northern edge of the Hill Country, the park offers fun for the whole family, for an afternoon or a weekend.
Throughout 2023, we are raising money for exciting projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Cleburne State Park’s centennial wish.
Cleburne State Park’s Centennial Wish:
UTV to the Rescue
Cleburne State Park provides a remote and rugged experience for visitors. The steep limestone bluffs reward hikers with spectacular views and give mountain bikers a thrilling descent.
But these opportunities also expose park users to risks of becoming lost and injured, often in areas not accessible by a road.
With your assistance, the park will receive a rescue Utility Terrain Vehicle so park staff can better respond to emergencies and bring visitors to safety when needed.
Fundraising goal: $25,000
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Cleburne State Park for future funding needs.
