Buescher State Park

East of Austin and a short drive past Bastrop State Park, you’ll find its sibling, Buescher State Park. Park goers enjoy biking or taking a scenic drive along the winding 12-mile road that connects the two parks, exploring Buescher’s six miles of wooded trails, and fishing or paddling on its 30-acre lake.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for exciting projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Buescher State Park’s centennial wish.

Give Back to Buescher State Park

Buescher State Park’s Centennial Wish:

Children’s Playground Refresh

A popular spot for the youngest Buescher visitors is the playground in the day-use area.

The playground needs a refresh, and park staff would like to replace some of the playground equipment and improve access by constructing a new sidewalk. The sidewalk will encircle the playground and benches will be installed, too.

With your help, children will play happily at Buescher State Park for years to come.

Fundraising goal: $27,000

Give Back to Buescher State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Buescher State Park for future funding needs.
