Atlanta State Park

Park goers can often be found fishing, camping, birding and more at this peaceful retreat. Sitting on the shores of Wright Patman Lake near Texarkana, the 33,750-surface-acre reservoir invites waterskiing, boating, and fishing, while the multi-use trails canopied by towering pines and hardwoods provide on-land adventures galore.

Throughout 2023, we are raising money for exciting projects at all Texas State Parks. Give back today and help us grant Atlanta State Park’s centennial wish.

Atlanta State Park’s Centennial Wish:

UTV to the Rescue of Man and Nature Alike

A big component of Atlanta State Park’s mission is to protect and conserve the park’s resources, which include both natural resources and cultural resources.

The park would like to purchase a 4X4 Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) with a slide-in chemical spray rig. The UTV and spray unit will be used for natural resource management projects. Park staff will also be able to use the UTV for search and rescue emergency response in remote and off-road areas.

With your help, park staff will be able to come to the rescue of man and nature alike.

Fundraising goal: $25,000

Give Back to Atlanta State Park
Once the initial priority project has been funded, any dollars raised beyond the needs of the park’s priority project will remain with Atlanta State Park for future funding needs.
